  1. Download and install Hotspot Shield via Google Playstore or App Store ;
  2. Run the application and select Proceed with basic only for the free version;
  3. Tap on the circle that says Connect ;
  4. Hotspot Shield will do the configuration, just allow it;
  5. Wait a moment until the connecting process is complete, if successful the text will change to Connected and there is a logo that says VPN in the top corner of your cellphone.

Once connected, try to access the previously blocked site again.

2. Turbo VPN

  2. Run the application and click the Carrot logo to start the connection;
  3. Turbo VPN will do the configuration, just allow it;
  4. Wait a moment until the connecting process is complete, if successful the text will change to Connected and there is a logo that says VPN in the top corner of your cellphone.

Once connected, try to access the previously blocked site again.

How to open a blocked site

To open blocked sites through a browser on a PC or laptop, users generally use Add-ons or Extensions such as AnonymoX .

This extension is free and available on Chrome and Firefox.

1. AnoymoX in Google Chrome

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store and search for AnoymoX in the Search the Store field ;
  2. If you have found it, click Add to Chrome ;
  3. Then click Add extension ;
  4. Wait for the download process to complete and AnoymoX will be installed automatically;
  5. If it is installed, there is an X logo in the right corner of the browser ;
  6. Click the X logo and make sure the button position is On , which means AnonymoX is active;
  7. Finished.

Now try to reopen the previously blocked site.

2. AnoymoX in Mozilla Firefox

Just like Chrome, Firefox also uses the AnoymoX extension for private browsing .

  2. After entering the Add-ons Manager , search for AnonymoX in the search field;

  4. Wait for the installation process until a pop-up notification appears then click Add ;
  5. If successfully installed, the X logo appears in the right corner of Firefox as follows:
  6. At this point the installation of AnoymoX on Firefox has been completed.

Try testing by accessing previously blocked sites.

3. Opera

Opera is one of the most popular browsers besides Firefox and Google Chrome.

With Opera, users do not need to use additional Add-ons or Extensions because Opera has its own VPN feature that is already included in it.

  1. Launch Opera, tap the Opera logo in the top left corner and select Settings , or press the Alt + P key combination to enter Settings ;
  2. After going to Settings , scroll down and click on Advanced ;
  3. Scroll down again and find VPN ;
  4. Next enable it by clicking the button on the right side in Enable VPN ;
  5. If successfully connected, there is a VPN logo next to the Address Bar .

To test it, try reopening a previously blocked site.

  1. Open Hide Me using the browser you usually use via the https://hide.me/en/proxy link ;
  2. If so, type the URL of the website you want to visit in full (eg https://www.foldertips.com) in the Enter web address column then click Visit anonymously ;
  3. Wait for the surfing process for a while until the blocked site opens.

2. Proxy Site

Just like Hide.me, Proxy Site is also a free proxy service provider and the way to use it is almost the same.

  1. Open the https://www.proxysite.com/ link through the browser you usually use;
  2. Enter the URL link of the website you want to visit in the Enter URL field ;
  3. If so, click GO ;
  4. Wait for the surfing process for a while until the blocked site opens.
